Why are there no joinable groups?

I don't do joinable groups because I prefer to give all my attention to people who know each other. Think of being in a car together with people you don't know and you need to get along with them for the whole day? What if you are a wine lover and the other couple isn't? Or you speak English and they speak German or Swiss? It would be a day of stress for all participants and I think you worked hard for your holidays and need to enjoy every single day of it.


What is the "Sniffbox"?

It's actually called a "Aroma bar for wine" but thank's to a client I changed it into "Sniffbox". It's a really cool item and a fun part of the wine tasting tour. With the content of 60 wine related aromas (plus salt) you will finally get the direct difference of the aromas you smell in the wines you are tasting. For me it's a personal working tool I use when do wine tastings, I started to bring it on tours and it had such a success, that I decided to bring it always with me.

What's about a discount?

You will be in a comfortable Van (VW Touran) during your tour. If you are a group of 5 people a 15% discount is applied on the single price and if you are a group of 6 people a discount of 20% is applied on the single price.

Which languages do you speak?

I speak 5 languages: Swiss german, German, English, Italian and French.

Can I bring my Baby or small kid with me?

Basically yes you can. If you need a Baby seat you need to let me know in advance, otherwise I can't accept your Baby or small kid on the tour. Safety is very important and needs to be followed. Even in Italy. You can bring your own Baby seat, if it's a VW compatible one, it's easy as there is the "Isofix" system in the car. Kids up to 10 years do not pay for the tour itself, but the following will be applied: an extra charge for Baby seat or kids seat and lunch.

Do I have to buy wine or items at the places we go?

No one is obliged to buy something. If you want to buy, it's of course appreciated by the producers, as they put there heart into there work and are proud of what they produce.

Can I ship wine back home?

Yes it's possible to ship over a shipping company your purchased wine. Almost all vineyards ship as well, but it's not possible to do mixed cases. The shipping cost is considered a door to door service, with custom declare included.

Do you offer city tours?

Yes, on request I can organize you a licensed guide for the cities of: Florence and Fiesole, Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, Lucca, Pisa, Livorno and the Etruscan coast.

Do you offer your tours to bigger groups as well?

On request I can organize groups up to 30 people. Please get in contact with me for further information.

I bring my dog on holiday, can I take him on the tour?

I'm a dog lover and owner and you are welcome to bring your dog on tour. As long he behaves, doesn't destroy the car and is not bigger than a Labrador. The dog compartment is in the spacy trunk, with a safety divider between the passengers room. Let me know in advance, so I can bring cozy sheets with me.

Why do you give 50 cents for each booking to a charitable foundation?

Because I think it's important that only with a little help, someone gets supported. The first is Four Paws (see link) a charitable foundation for animal rights. The second is Elisabeth Kübler-Ross foundation (see link) which helps people when they are touched by death.
