Quality rather than quantity is my motto since I started my business, DolceChianti. The fact that clients return and/or send their friends and family assures me that my philosophy is the right one. I have tremendous fun in doing my job and enjoy sharing my knowledge with those interested in wine drinking.

People think that they already have to know about wine, but no! You don’t have to be a wine expert to participate. Actually, you don’t even have to know anything about wine, because on my private wine tours, you will learn everything around wine and tasting and drinking. If you are instead someone who already knows some things about it, we will have a fun day in exchanging wine philosophy and you will deepen your wine knowledge.

The full day wine tasting tour is held in the Chianti Classico area and covers Chianti Classico and IGT wines (if you have ever heard the description “Supertuscan”, this would be among them). You will realize that each Chianti Classico is different from another, that wine is like perfume (that’s what my clients hear often), highly subjective and can smell like wild berries, violet, cedar and even leather. With the help of my “sniff box“ you will explore a totally new way of wine tasting and what it means to smell all these aromas. It’s like stepping through a new door and into a house which loves to be explored.

You are not so much into wine but would love to spend a day out on a weekly market? Then head for the Saturday market and wine tour, this is for everybody who loves to have a glimpse of the Tuscan country side and enjoy a day out of the busy city of Florence.

For the very individual tourist I offer the do it yourself wine tasting tour, a detailed tour you can do on your own! Included in the program are: Vineyards to stop and to taste, places to eat and interesting stops along the way.
